Course Aim
Our course aim is to provide training and assessment so a licensed driver can gain the relevant endorsement to operate and drive on a public road.
Driver Objectives
The drivers’ objective is to demonstrate knowledge and skill by:
- Passing a theory assessment only
- Passing a practical assessment when applicable to the endorsement required
Pre-course requirements
The candidate will be required to:
- Attend a formal course and/or
- Home study relevant to the endorsement they seek
- The candidate must provide their full class 1 drivers licence
LTNZ Approved Certificate
Once the training objectives have been completed and drive passed, a certificate will be issued, which he/she can take to any LTNZ Agency to have that endorsement entered onto their licence.
Note: The candidate should not drive that endorsement until they have been issued with a temporary drivers licence with the new endorsement added

D Dangerous Goods endorsement
F Forklift endorsement
P Passenger endorsement
R Roller endorsement
T Self-laying Tracks endorsement
W Special Wheels endorsement
V Vehicle Recovery endorsement
